Relationship Conflicts

One of the most beautiful qualities of an intimate, healthy relationship is the daily give and take of energy occurring between two people. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. Occasionally, the balance shifts and the relationship become one-sided causing it, over time, to become draining and unsatisfying.

We learn most about ourselves within the context of relationships. The beauty of this is that it allows us to explore parts of ourselves previously untapped but the flipside is we are forced to face issues and complexities ignored until now.

While conflict is a natural part of all relationships, destructive scripts, unfair fighting and not taking responsibility for thoughts and feelings so often occur. Mutual respect is lost

Learning to create a balanced compromise rather than winging or losing an argument, while learning about how we relate to each other and ourselves is my goal in working with individuals and couples who struggle in this area.
